{McKenzie's 9 month} Colorado Springs Children's Portrait Photographer

McKenzie's Mom contacted me when McKenzie was a baby & asked if I offered bundle packages from birth to 1yr. old. I do in fact. I will custom create packages to watch your baby grow through the big milestones. Contact me if you're interested. This is such a fun way to capture them at 3, 6, 9 months & the big 1yr. I thoroughly enjoyed watching little Miss McKenzie grow & change. But 9 months was by far my favorite. =) We met at Dirty Woman Creek Park in Monument on a crisp fall morning & it was perfect. She always shows up with an entourage & this day was no different...with grandparents visiting, mom & dad, etc. We placed her near the creek, splashed a bit in the creek & sat in her great, great grandfather's rocking chair...the cutest. Take a peek...

{Jack: Palmer Ridge High School Senior} Colorado Springs High School Senior Photographer

Jack...Jack...Jack. He made me laugh during his entire session & not in the obvious crack jokes kind of way. He just had this subtle, underlying, funny about him. I don't really know how to explain it. One of the nicest guys I had the pleasure of working with over the summer. Genuine, respectful, smart...all around NICE GUY. When I think back to his session, he started out nervous...to be expected. For most people, this is their first time getting profession pictures taken. They don't know what to expect, how it's going to go, where to put their hands, how to stand, etc. But that is what I am for. It's my job. To tell you how to stand, where to put your hands, what facial expression to convey (I paint a picture...trust me...ha!) & most of all...HAVE FUN!!! By the end of Jack's Senior Experience he was having a blast. I remember his natural smile, his coy attitude & feeling very confident in his every stance. I loved his last set the best because we played around with his ensemble (a plain hoodie). You'd be surprised what I can come up with.;) Take a peek at our adventure on Mnt. Herman Rd. Dog Pond as well as Dirty Woman Creek Park...

{Silas--1yr. Portraits} Colorado Springs Lifestyle/Portrait Baby Photographer

Oh my goodness...what a cutie little Silas was!!! He was snoozing right before his session so mom was a little nervous about how he would do. Well, no worries mom...he did GREAT!!! I have never seen such adorable expression from a 1yr. old before!!! He was full of smiles, surprise, curiosity, shy, coy, etc. We decided to keep the props simple & I'm so glad we did...sometimes those are the best sessions...they just keep the focus on the little one!!! I love how proudly he sat on the crate, chair & walked with his ma-ma holding her hand in his "1" crown!!! Apparently he was a go-getter at his 1st Birthday Party & LOVED his cake!!! Ha-ha, I love it!!! Here is a peek at a sweet, simple, September Session with Silas.

{Baby Harriet--4 months old} Colorado Springs Baby Portrait Photographer

Sweet baby girl Harriet just turned 4 months old & has 3 older sisters. Ahhh...I just love a big family of girls, since I grew up in one. =) A special bond to have sisters!!! I'm thankful everyday for the 3 older sisters God gave me. Harriet was all smiles even throughout all the prop & outfit changes. Such a sweetie & those big beautiful brown eyes are just gorgeous. Here is a peek at our evening together...

{The Mulledy Family} Colorado Springs Family Lifestyle & Portrait Photographer

This was my first time meeting the Mulledy Family & they were so wonderful. I immediately fell in LOVE with their adorable children, Luke & Adaline. I mean...did you see those little munchkin smiles? And how bad is it that I'm jealous of a 2yr. old's gorgeous hair? She has a natural ombre with layers...hello. So so beautiful. And their personalities were the cutest!!! It was a beautiful morning at Dirty Woman Creek park with gorgeous morning light filtering through. I felt a little off my game that morning (the coffee certainly hadn't kicked in yet), but thank goodness the pictures were NOT evidence of how I felt on the inside. I love how natural & comfortable they all were in front of the lens. Here is a peek from their session...

{Gracie--2yr. Portraits} Colorado Springs Children's Portrait & Lifestyle Photographer

Oh my goodness I almost missed blogging this session...I'm not sure how I got out of chronological order, but it would be a shame to miss this precious session. I love Gracie girl. She is the sweetest, most precious little 2yr. old I know. I really would take her home with me if mom, dad & big sister would let me.;) We met at Dirty Woman Park for a reschedule. This was the same location we took her 1yr. pics & we rescheduled last year due to weather too. Both times have benefited us, because the reschedule dates were GORGEOUS evenings; with truly magical light. This year she was clearly more active...running, spinning, splashing, jumping, dancing, chasing lady bugs, watching them fly away. She is such a smarty, she even told me knock-knock jokes while I took her photos!!! Unbelievable...I just love her so. Without further ado...here is a peek at our beautiful evening together...

{The Hoagberg Family} Colorado Springs Lifestyle/Portrait Photographer

...Oh yes, another sister & her beautiful fam!!! I am a lucky girl to have three older sisters & pretty proud to be the "baby" of them; they are pretty AWESOME SISTERS!!! (I'm getting choked up just thinking about it.) I think we are in definite need of another sister's trip. *Ok, that was a total sidenote!* This sister literally lives across the road from me, but she too, needed some family pics this summer, so alas...he they are!!! =) Puppy Ginger included in a few. Love their flattering color choices also. Nicely done sis! Without further ado...

{The Gillquist Family} Colorado Springs Family Lifestyle/Portrait Photographer

My beautiful sister & her family from MN came out this summer for a visit over the 4th of July Holiday. As her girls are getting older, she was wanting to capture them together before they are all off & married. =( They are obviously a very photogenic family & easy on the eyes, so this session was exceptionally easy & fun!!!. Plus we added Cooper; their sweet pup...which always adds a level of cozy intimacy to family photos. =) Here is a peek at our beautiful sunny morning together at Dirty Woman Creek Park...

{Styled Bohemian-CustomJewelry Photoshoot} Colorado Springs Styled Photographer

There are so many words I could use to describe this fabulously vintage boho session, but beautifully fun (ok, that's two;)) come to mind first!!! These are three of my gorgeous nieces who also just so happened to be quite the fashionistas. The purpose behind this styled session is to highlight my amazingly talented sister, Wendy, who creates one of a kind custom hand-made jewelry. (Wendy's Vintage Designs). She can be found via FB & or Instagram as well as Etsy @ wendysvintagedesigns. Seriously...I am in LOVE with every single piece she creates. Her brilliant design makes it effortless and fun to switch & swap charms. It comes in a variety of colors & shades from soft vintage pink hues to out of this world ocean blues. Not only will she be at some of the upcoming local craft fairs, such as Rock Ledge Ranch & Palmer Ridge High School, but she also custom creates necklaces, bracelets, boot bling & more!!! If you want your very own custom made piece (or maybe one for a friend, mother-in-law) contact her at Wendyhoagberg@hotmail.com. or (719)229-7956. So, take a peek at her unbelievably gorgeous jewelry & try not to be distracted by the pretty ladies.;) Ha-ha!!! What a fun morning we had though...I mean, SERIOUSLY!!! =) I love my job!

{Caleb--Palmer Ridge H.S.--Class of 2017} Colorado Springs High School Senior Photographer

I am a lucky girl for many reasons, but one of them is that I am a proud aunt that gets the opportunity (pretty often in fact) to take my nephew/nieces Senior Photos!!! You see I have three amazing older sisters & lots of nieces & nephews who I am so so so proud of. I just love watching them change & grow. It's crazy to think that ANOTHER one is about to begin his Senior year of High School!!!?!! Where does the time go? I can remember Caleb at age: 2 clear as day. Bright blue eyes, toe-head blonde, smile as big as they come & a sweet spirit that would make your heart smile!!! I could go on & on, but instead of mushing & gushing, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Enjoy a peek at a few of his different wardrobe changes/locations. There will be more to add to this session later, but for now...

P.S. I think he's a STUD!!! =)
